Patients who join the plan also have better dental health long term as they attend regularly for checkups and scale and polish, which helps keep the teeth and gums healthy.

Worldwide accident and emergency insurance

As a member of the plan, you will be registered with your dentist’s accident and emergency insurance, which covers:

• Treatment following accidents.
• Emergency treatment at another practice whilst away from home or outside of published practice opening times.
• Oral cancer cover.

To keep you fully informed of our policies, please note the following:

• There is a one-off £9.50 administration joining fee, which will be taken at your first monthly collection.
• Your monthly payments will be taken on or around the 14th of each month by our administrators, Practice Plan, and their name will appear on your bank statement.
• Your benefits will commence following your first monthly payment, and your next routine appointment will be included as one of your plan entitlements.
• You will not be asked to sign a contract, and you may leave the plan at any time by contacting Practice Plan on 01922 622 483.
• If your Direct Debit payments fail twice consecutively, we may cancel your membership.
• Patients are responsible for making and attending appointments provided by the plan.
• Your membership is continuous and does not require renewal each year.
• In the unlikely event of you cancelling your plan, you may be required to pay for your last appointment, and we reserve the right to recover any discounts applied to treatment completed in the previous six-month period.
